Finding Your Ideal Home in the Long Island Area

A good home in Long Island isn’t tough to find if you do your research. You can find a place that is large enough and has enough features for you and your family. Just make sure you invest wisely, so you don’t regret it later.

Figure out how much money you can spend on a new home. If you’re selling your home, think about what the absolute lowest price it will sell for and use that to estimate what you can afford. You need to think of the worst case and best case scenarios when it comes to the sale of a home to get a new one. Also, reflect on the bills you’ll have to pay each month in the new place. Water, electricity, and anything else that they may need you to pay if you live there are all important to keep an eye on so you know if it’s possible to survive in an area.

A neighborhood may not be that great, so make sure you research it first. There are ways to look at maps of where crimes have happened online using real estate websites and the tools they offer. If you notice that an area with a nicely priced home seems to have a lot of problems, then you know that is why it’s so cheap to live there. You don’t have to sacrifice your comfort so don’t try to get a home somewhere you know you’ll hate, or you’ll regret it every day when you run into issues with the neighbors you have.

Finding your ideal home in the Long Island area is not too terribly difficult with the help of the internet. You now are more familiar with what needs to be done. That way, you’re not wasting time and money on places that just are not a good fit for you.

Dom Is All About That Fruit Salad

Have you guys watched this season of Project Runway All Stars? Despite having a mediocre start to the competition, winner of Season 12, Dom, won season 5 of PR All Stars. Once again she won based on the fact that she’s literally the only designer that can make Fruit Salad actually look good on people. No one else can mix and match prints that are big, loud and bold like her. Take a look at her design for the iPhone case challenge:

If that doesn’t scream FRUIT SALAD then I don’t know what else to say. The judges knocked her for hand painting the leather. They are insane. It gives it that vintage DIY feel but also looks expensive as fuck.

What are your thoughts?

Three Cheers for Christian!

Other than the fact that I absolutely hate the styling, (Those eyebrows are atrocious. And some of the make up — why would anyone where blue eye shadow that matches the dress exactly? You look like a clown!) Christian Siriano should be applauded for designing and executing body conscious dresses for plus size women.
